Description
The Frosty Rock Challenge is a three-tiered event, including a 12k run, a 5k run, and a 1 mile walk/run. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate! Pre-registration cost for both12k and 5k is a $25. Event T-shirts are available for $15 (optional). The 1 mile walk/run is Free! Proceeds will go towards Fort Rotary community projects like park improvements, support for our schools and local non-profits, as well as projects that make meaningful and lasting impact across the globe; examples include food, health, water, and sanitation projects in the Philippines, India, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Poland, and Ukraine.
Packet Pickup
Night before Race Day, packets can be picked up from 5-7pm at FHC Business Services office.
Race Courses (maps linked above)
12k: Unique mixed road & trail course! The race starts at the Fort Atkinson High School, goes through Dorothy Carnes County Park - past the historic Mason Farms log home, through the oak savannah, past the marshes and wetlands, and over the prairie - and returns to the high school. This race begins at 9:00am.
5k: The route will explore the neighborhood streets of Fort Atkinson, starting and ending at the high school. This race begins at 9:15am.
1 mile: A 1-mile untimed walk/run is also be offered, around the high school grounds. This race begins at 8:30am.
All racecourses will close at 11:00am.
Awards
Race will feature overall & age group awards (12 and under for 5k only, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 +) for both the 5K and 12K male and females.
